Vidya Vikas Educational Trust Hostels in the campus of Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET) provide accommodation to the students wishing to reside in the hostels. VVET Hostels gives a distinct advantage of befriending with students from across the globe and expose them to various religions, languages and customs. In addition to that, living as a community in the hostel will lead to all-round development of personality of a hostelite and will definitely go a long way in moulding world-class citizens.
Hostels are independent units in respects to its internal administration under the overall supervision of council of wardens and the hostel management. The hostel management with various committees involves the Principal and faculty members for care taking of the hostelites. The hostels are located in the college campus and have a separate hostel office and mess within the hostel premises. The mess has a centralized modern kitchen and a separate dining hall. General menus for every 3 months are decided by the hostelite representatives selected by the hostels. Special menus are introduced and served on all important festivals.
Immediate response for the medical exigencies is executed by the council of wardens and 24X7 medical facilities is made available by having tie up with Cauvery – Fortis Hospitals which is situated near by the Institution. Hostel also provides total security for the well being of students by maintaining day and night shift security guards.
The hostel building comprises of basement, ground and three upper floors to accommodate 200 girls. There are 8 twin sharing rooms with attached toilet and bathrooms and 40 four sharing rooms with toilet and bathrooms. Each student is provided with a wardrobe, study table, chair, cot and book storing cabinet. The building is equipped with solar water heating System. The facilities include reading room, 24/7 Wi-fi-Internet accessibility, TV, Washing machine, power back-up, RO drinking water system, biometric attendance system, indoor sports facilities and parking space for student vehicles. (Two wheelers only). The hostel is strictly under CC TV surveillance.
